Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This telemetry position is based in Simi Valley, CA — a scenic suburban community bordering Los Angeles, with easy access to both outdoor recreation and city amenities.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Clinical Scope

You'll provide coordinated nursing care for telemetry patients in an acute care setting, utilizing continuous cardiac monitoring to guide clinical decisions. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, and evaluation of patient progress, as well as discharge planning and patient/family education. The role requires critical thinking, independent judgment, and effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license in California
• BLS (from an approved vendor)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Experience & Education

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• BSN preferred
• Electronic health record proficiency required
