Assignment Details

- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36–48 hours/week guaranteed)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Unit Overview
The telemetry unit manages patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and stroke-related care. Nurses deliver coordinated, patient-centered care across varying acuity levels, supervise ancillary nursing staff, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams. Discharge planning and care continuity are key responsibilities of the role.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN license in California (or compact equivalent)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Prior telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
Additional Requirements
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation is required
- Scrub color: not specified — confirm at time of offer
- Vaccination compliance required per facility policy
