Registered Nurse – Telemetry | Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA

This is a 13-week travel nursing contract on a telemetry unit in Simi Valley, California — a suburban community offering easy access to both outdoor recreation and the greater Los Angeles area.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Role Overview

You'll deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient population on a telemetry unit, utilizing critical thinking and independent clinical judgment. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients and analyzing data to guide diagnosis and care planning
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans
• Supervising and delegating to nursing team members
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across disciplines
• Providing patient and family education
• Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in California (or compact, if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• BSN preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records required
• Familiarity with Adventist Health network facilities a plus
