Registered Nurse – Telemetry | Simi Valley, CA

Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36–48 hours per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: October 26, 2026

This Telemetry unit provides coordinated, patient-centered care for a diverse medical population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and close clinical oversight. The RN will manage an assigned patient group, supervise and direct nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze patient data to formulate nursing diagnoses and care plans
• Implement and evaluate individualized care plans, adjusting interventions as patient status evolves
• Coordinate with the broader care team — including physicians, ancillary staff, and case management — to promote safe transitions of care
• Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure continuity
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge needs
• Delegate appropriately to ancillary nursing staff

Requirements:

• Active RN licensure in California
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BSN preferred
• Prior telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Schedule Note: Day shift; 36 or 48-hour weekly commitments available. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
