MRI Tech – 7P–7A, 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a high-volume MRI department. This is a fast-paced environment averaging 32 exams daily, with strong teamwork and supportive staff.
Unit Details
You'll work with 2 MRI technologists per night shift across 3 MRI units. The department includes newly installed advanced imaging equipment and handles a broad range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Administer contrast agents per protocol
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months current MRI Tech experience
- ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS certification
- Reliable weekend availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GE equipment
- Trauma or critical care exposure
