Ultrasound Technologist

Position Overview

The facility's imaging department is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join the team on a 13-week contract. This is a day-shift role with excellent work-life balance and no on-call responsibilities.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• No call, no weekends, no holidays
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Required Credentials

• ARRT and ARDMS certifications
• Current BLS certification
• Compliance with continuing medical education (CME)

Clinical Responsibilities

You will independently perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations including:

• Abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial studies
• General diagnostic radiology procedures
• Evaluate and synthesize diagnostic findings, communicating results clearly to referring physicians and radiologists

Additional Duties

• Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and coordinate with service engineers
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in the imaging department
• Organize daily work schedules and manage patient scheduling
• Cross-train into other imaging modalities as needed
• Maintain effective relationships with patients and healthcare team members
• Follow departmental protocols and procedures
