CT Technologist – Night Shift
Shift & Duration
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week with every-other-weekend rotation. 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Role
You'll operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. You'll also perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed. This role serves patients from adolescence through geriatrics across a range of clinical presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and produce high-quality sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Perform fluoroscopy and general radiography procedures
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Transfer images via PACS and teleradiology systems to the appropriate location
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing information while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management
Required Qualifications
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in California
- Current R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) certification from ARRT
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy license (required in California)
- Venipuncture certification (required in California if administering contrast)
- Minimum two years recent experience in radiologic technology
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
