Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
About the Role
Provide direct nursing care in a medical-surgical unit with a cardiac population and telemetry monitoring. You'll implement and monitor patient care plans, track and communicate patient conditions, and serve as the primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care. Your responsibilities include executing physician and nursing orders, assessing discharge planning needs, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
This role requires strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, sometimes high-stress environment.
Unit Details
The unit manages medical-surgical and cardiac patients with telemetry capabilities. Wear navy or maroon scrubs during your shifts.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Start Date: October 11, 2026
Requirements
- Current, valid RN license (verification required)
- EKG competency
- Willingness to complete required onboarding assessments and health screenings (immunizations, drug screening, fit testing, and background check)

Experienced med-surg nurses comfortable with telemetry, able to manage multiple patients, and ready to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. You'll need minimal supervision and strong communication skills.
