Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and monitor outcomes
- Recognize and respond promptly to patient complications and changes in condition
- Deliver patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning
- Supervise and delegate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for care
- Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance
- Practice within Ohio RN scope of practice and nursing standards
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- 3+ years of nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
Shift Details
- Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 per week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call/On-Call: None
- Holidays: No holiday rotation
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Prior experience with electronic health records and pharmacy systems preferred; training provided. Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility.
