Respiratory Therapist – Travel Contract | Dyersburg, TN

13-Week Contract | Day Shift | 3x12-Hour (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

This fast-paced Respiratory Therapy department serves patients across the full lifespan — from neonates through geriatrics — and is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• Days, 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirement
• Interview required prior to offer

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care based on individualized patient needs
• Perform intubations across neonatal, pediatric, and adult/geriatric populations
• Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures, including arterial puncture and analysis
• Manage BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, mechanical ventilation, and weaning protocols
• Perform EKGs on floor patients (excluding the Emergency Department)
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including pharmacy, rapid response, radiology, and more

Required Qualifications

• RRT credential required; CRTs will not be considered
• Active Tennessee Respiratory Therapist license required at time of submission
• Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
• Recent charting system experience within the last 18 months, clearly documented on profile; candidates must pass a competency exam on-site (one attempt only)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); flu vaccine required with no exemptions
