Pediatric Medical-Surgical Float Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced pediatric RN for a night-shift float position across multiple specialty units. You'll provide care to hospitalized children in various clinical settings, rotating between campuses as needed.
Units & Clinical Scope
You'll float among:
- Cardiac Acute Care Unit (CACU)
- Telemetry Step-Down Unit (TSU)
- Acute Family Liaison and Care (AFLAC)
- Children's Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (CIRU)
This role requires flexibility to work across two main campuses.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation participation as needed
- Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' pediatric nursing experience
- Active Georgia or compact state RN license
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)
- Nicotine-free status verified by drug screening
