Emergency Department Registered Nurse
About the Role
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to join a dynamic team delivering comprehensive emergency care. You'll work days (7a–7p) in a full-spectrum ED environment, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
- Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
- Educate patients and document care actions, observations, and responses
- Support charge nurse and preceptor duties as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license (no hits or disciplinary actions)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience
- Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Not a previous employee of the facility
Contract Details
- 13-week assignment
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
- Start date: October 26, 2026
