NICU Registered Nurse (RN) Level III

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

The facility's Level III NICU seeks an experienced RN to provide direct care to critically ill and medically complex neonates. You'll manage high-acuity patients requiring advanced respiratory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and therapeutic hypothermia.

Clinical Scope:

• Deliver care to premature, critically ill, and medically complex infants
• Manage patients on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen systems
• Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, and umbilical lines (UAC/UVC)
• Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
• Provide therapeutic cooling care with confidence and independence
• Recognize and respond swiftly to neonatal deterioration and emergency situations
• Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and participate in resuscitation efforts
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary team
• Provide family education and emotional support throughout hospitalization
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• 3–4+ years of strong Level III NICU experience
• Hands-on therapeutic cooling experience required
• Ability to function independently and manage complex patients with minimal supervision
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
