Night Shift Cardiac Med/Tele RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for its Cardiac Medical/Telemetry unit on a 16-week night shift contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a monitored setting, managing patients with cardiac conditions and medical complexity.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• Flexible scheduling per facility needs; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes
• Charge nurse duties available (requested but not required; training provided)
• Float to other units as needed

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
• Willingness to work in a charge capacity
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Contract Details

• 16 weeks
• Start: December 1, 2026
• Guaranteed 112 contract hours
