Med/Surg Telemetry – Night Shift RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week contract on a medical/surgical telemetry unit. You'll provide care to complex patients on nights, with flexibility to support unit needs and occasional charge duties.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract

Clinical Scope

You'll care for medical and surgical patients on telemetry monitoring, supporting complex care needs. Charge experience is requested but not required; training will be provided if needed. Float to other units as needed based on facility operations.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2+ years acute hospital experience
• 1+ recent year in med/surg or telemetry
• 2+ years U.S. work history (required for international candidates)
• Willingness to work charge shifts and adapt to scheduling flexibility
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 112 contract weeks
• Start: December 1, 2026
