Emergency Observation RN — Rochester, NY | Night Shift | 16-Week Contract

This travel RN role is based in an Emergency Observation unit providing 24-hour observation-level care. The unit also assists with ED boarder patients awaiting inpatient admission, making this a fast-paced environment requiring strong emergency and observation nursing skills.

Shift Details

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3×12s | 36 hours/week
• One weekend shift per contracted week, or two weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least one holiday worked per contract
• Rotating block schedule available; fixed block options: Thu/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Estimated start: October 27, 2026
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency or observation nursing experience
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS (required)
• PALS (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work history
