Position Overview
The facility is seeking registered nurses to support surge staffing across multiple inpatient units. You'll work in a float pool environment, delivering care to diverse patient populations in medical/surgical, telemetry, behavioral health, and emergency settings. If you have critical care experience, you may also float to the CCU or ICU.
Schedule & Expectations
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36-hour work week with possibility of overtime
- Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Contract: 13 weeks
- On-call: Occasional call may be required during low census; if called in, you must arrive on-site within one hour
Clinical Details
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Active ACLS certification
- Experience with the facility's EMR system within the last 12 months
- Telemetry competency: You will self-study dysrhythmia strips upon acceptance and must pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week of orientation
What You'll Do
Deliver patient-centered care using the full nursing process while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families. Maintain high professional standards across all assigned units.
