Cardiac Medical/Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for its Cardiac Medical/Telemetry unit on the night shift (7 PM–7 AM). This 16-week contract offers flexibility in scheduling with 36 or 48 hour per week options.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights (7 PM–7 AM)
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work a minimum of 1 holiday during the contract
- Charge nurse duties may be requested; training provided
Clinical Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a cardiac medical/telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and managing telemetry systems. Float assignments to other units may occur based on facility needs.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
- At least 1 recent year in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
- 2 years U.S. work history required for international candidates
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to remain flexible with scheduling
