Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse — Sioux City, IA
13-Week Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
A healthcare facility in Sioux City, Iowa is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you'll apply your clinical expertise to deliver and manage patient care across a general med-surg population. Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Travelers must be available to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- No on-call required
- Non-local candidates only — must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Active Iowa RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Electronic medical records experience
- First-time travelers welcome
Preferred Qualifications
- Heparin drip experience
