Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Acute Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical and telemetry acute care unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patients across a range of acute medical and post-operative conditions.
Schedule & Staffing
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
- Weekends & Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to other units as needed
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Clinical Environment
Requirements
- License: Active Registered Nurse license (Alabama or Compact; temporary licenses not accepted)
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (or 18 months with consideration of high-level professional supervision, plus 1 year recent experience in specialty)
- Certifications:
- AHA BLS (required)
- ACLS (preferred)

Solid navy scrubs
