Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-hour nights | 36 hours/week
- Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required if scheduled
Position Overview
This night-shift RRT opening is with an inpatient respiratory care department in North Adams, MA. The role requires a clinically experienced therapist comfortable working independently in an acute care environment across a range of respiratory needs and patient populations.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required (CRTs will not be considered)
- Minimum 3 years of current RRT experience
- Active Massachusetts RRT license
- Active NBRC certification
- BLS (American Heart Association) — required
- ACLS and PALS — preferred
- Personal vehicle required for this assignment
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Holiday Coverage
Travelers must be available to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled:
- Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, and that weekend
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and that weekend
- New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and that weekend
Scheduling Notes
- All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of profile upload; no requests will be approved after an offer is extended
- Maximum of 5 RTO days accepted
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation included
