Telemetry Registered Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift. This role offers 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Requirements

• Valid Georgia or compact nursing license
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
• BLS certification (AHA) required at start
• Proficiency with IV insertion, PICC line placement, and electronic charting
• Travel candidates only; no local applicants within 50 miles

Responsibilities

You'll provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients with various medical-surgical conditions. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, IV care, and documentation.

Float Expectations

As part of this assignment, you will float to other departments across the facility's locations as clinical needs arise. Float assignments are department-based and monitored for balance.
