Surgery RN – ENT & General Surgery

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Surgery RN for a 90-week contract on the night shift. You'll provide skilled perioperative and bedside nursing care in a specialty surgical unit.

Clinical Scope

This role combines operating room support with postoperative floor nursing across general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head & neck procedures. The unit specializes in caring for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies, requiring strong airway management and high-acuity patient care skills.

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: NOC (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Contract: 90 weeks
• Guaranteed hours provided

Requirements

• Current GA or compact nursing license
• AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Demonstrated expertise in surgical nursing and specialty patient populations

What You'll Do

Support complex surgical cases, manage post-operative recovery, monitor patients with advanced airway devices, and work collaboratively with a surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
