Cardiac & Vascular OR Nurse – Night Shift
About the Role
The facility's OR team performs high-acuity cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular interventions. You'll work the night shift (11 PM–11 AM) in a fast-paced surgical environment supporting patients across a broad range of cardiac and vascular cases.
Schedule & Expectations
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour nights per week (36 hours/week)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start: Every Monday
- On-Call: 48–60 hours per 4-week period, including weekends. On-call may be scheduled on your days off or during your shift. On-call rooms are available. The facility rarely keeps staff on-call for entire shifts; if coverage needs extend, you'll have the opportunity to leave early and rest.
- Floating: You may be asked to float to the General OR as needed. You may also float between up to 3 campuses with typically 1 day's notice for scheduled cases. On-call commitments remain at your assigned location.
Requirements
- GA or compact license in hand
- Strong endovascular experience required
- Background in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and/or robotics is preferred
- Ability to work within a 50-mile radius (no local travel)
What We're Looking For
Experienced OR nurses comfortable with high-acuity cardiac and vascular procedures, flexible scheduling, and collaborative teamwork across multiple surgical specialties.
