Observation Unit Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced nurse for its Observation Unit on the night shift. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients in a fast-paced, dynamic setting where clinical decision-making and patient advocacy are paramount.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (NOC)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience
- Current RN license: GA or compact state
- AHA ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
About the Role
You'll work in the Observation Unit, managing patients who require close monitoring and rapid assessment. The role demands strong clinical judgment, excellent communication with the interdisciplinary team, and the ability to handle a varied patient population during overnight hours. Night shift nursing in this setting requires independence, attention to detail, and composure under pressure.
