ICU Nurse — 13-Week Assignment
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA. You'll work the day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours).
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of ICU experience
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Cardiac experience preferred
Clinical Scope
You'll provide direct patient care in a critical care environment. Expect to manage post-operative cardiac patients, monitor hemodynamics, manage central lines and advanced airways, and respond to rapid changes in patient acuity. You may float to the ED observation unit or medical-surgical floor as needed.
