Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse patient population across all acuity levels.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (NOC)
- Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience
- AHA ACLS and BLS certification
- NIHSS certification required
What You'll Do
Work alongside a dedicated emergency medicine team, triaging and treating patients presenting with medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies. You'll handle assessments, administer medications and treatments, and coordinate care across multiple departments. Experience with stroke protocols and acute patient assessment is essential.
