Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a night shift assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months emergency department experience
• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIHSS certification

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Responsibilities include , patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality care.

What We're Looking For

Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and organized during high-volume periods. Experience with emergency protocols, trauma care, and acute patient stabilization is essential.
