Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts in a fast-paced med-surg unit caring for patients across a range of acute conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours throughout your contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Current RN license (GA or Compact License required; must be in hand at time of submission)
- NIHSS Certification
- Travel nursing experience preferred

What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing acute and post-operative patients. You'll perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and respond to patient needs in a collaborative environment.
