Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Telemetry RN to join the acute care team for a 13-week contract. You'll provide continuous cardiac monitoring and nursing care to patients with cardiac and other acute conditions in a fast-paced telemetry unit.

Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
• Demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm identification
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips
• Ability to perform IV insertion and PICC line placement
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously; identify and escalate arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac medications and antiarrhythmics per physician orders
• Assess patients and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Participate in rapid response and code interventions
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Document assessments and interventions accurately
• Maintain infection control and fall prevention protocols
