Telemetry Nurse – 90-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Telemetry Nurse to join the clinical team on a 90-week assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment, monitoring and managing patients with cardiac and other acute conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- AM shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours
Requirements
- 18+ months of telemetry nursing experience
- Georgia or compact license (current and in hand)
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Competency in IV insertion and PICC line placement
What You'll Do
Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, administer medications, perform invasive procedures (IV insertion, PICC placement), and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.
