TELEMETRY RN – ATLANTA, GA

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• 18+ months of telemetry experience
• Demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Ability to initiate IVs and manage PICC lines
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy

Role Overview

You'll provide continuous cardiac monitoring and nursing care to patients with acute cardiac and other acute conditions. Your responsibilities include interpreting cardiac rhythms, identifying arrhythmias, and escalating care promptly. You'll administer cardiac medications and drips per physician orders, assess and respond to changes in patient condition, and collaborate with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team on the plan of care.

Key Duties

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage antiarrhythmic medications
• Respond to rapid response and code interventions
• Initiate IVs and manage PICC lines
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
• Maintain infection control and fall prevention protocols
• Manage a typical patient load per facility guidelines
