Telemetry Nurse – 13-Week Travel Assignment

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: November 16, 2026

About the Role

The facility is seeking a skilled Telemetry RN to provide continuous cardiac monitoring and acute nursing care. You'll work with patients experiencing cardiac conditions and other acute illnesses, managing complex rhythm interpretation and medication administration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret rhythms; identify and escalate arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac medications including drips and antiarrhythmics per physician orders
• Assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Participate in rapid response and code interventions as needed
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control and fall prevention protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or compact license)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
• Strong competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Experience with IV insertion and PICC line placement
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
