Telemetry RN — Atlanta, GA | Travel Contract
This 13-week travel assignment places you on a telemetry unit focused on patient-centered, high-quality cardiac monitoring care. Shifts run days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week).
What You'll Do
You'll care for telemetry patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, managing a range of acuity levels and supporting patient stability through attentive, skilled nursing care. Core clinical responsibilities include:
- Continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation
- IV insertion and PICC line placement
- Neurological assessment using NIHSS
- Coordination of care across the interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of Telemetry RN experience
- Active Georgia or compact nursing license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- NIHSS certification required
- BLS certification required
- IV insertion and PICC line competency
- Familiarity with electronic health records documentation
