Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to join the cardiac monitoring unit. You'll provide continuous care to patients with acute cardiac and other complex conditions, working closely with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• 18+ months of telemetry experience
• Demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret rhythms; identify and escalate arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac medications and antiarrhythmics per physician orders
• Perform IV insertion and PICC line placement
• Assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and care team on treatment plans
• Respond to rapid response and code interventions
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment
• Document accurately in the EMR
• Maintain infection control and fall prevention standards
• Manage typical patient loads per facility guidelines

What We're Looking For

Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cardiac environment. Experience managing acute cardiac patients and medication administration is essential.
