Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: November 16, 2026

About the Role

The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to join the night shift team. You'll provide continuous cardiac monitoring and skilled nursing care to patients with cardiac and acute conditions, working in a fast-paced environment where your clinical judgment and attention to detail directly impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously; identify and respond to arrhythmias and changes in patient condition
• Administer cardiac medications, including drips and antiarrhythmics, per physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team on patient care planning
• Respond to rapid response and code situations
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
• Maintain infection control and fall prevention protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• Minimum 1+ year of telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Ability to insert IVs and manage PICC lines
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
