Telemetry Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse to join the unit for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing acute and stable patients on continuous telemetry monitoring.
Schedule & Contract
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
- Start date: November 16, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license: Georgia or compact state
- 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
- NIHSS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated competency with IV insertion and PICC line placement
Clinical Skills & Scope
You will monitor patients on continuous cardiac telemetry, manage hemodynamic data, respond to arrhythmias, and provide skilled nursing care in a fast-paced telemetry environment. Strong assessment and communication skills are essential.
