Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA. You'll work 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a cardiac telemetry unit managing patients with cardiac and acute conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
• Competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and EKG monitoring
• IV insertion and PICC line experience
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret rhythms; identify and escalate arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac medications including drips and antiarrhythmics per orders
• Assess and respond promptly to patient condition changes
• Respond to rapid response and code interventions
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and infection control/fall prevention protocols
• Manage typical patient load per facility acuity guidelines

• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
