Telemetry Nurse – 90 Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse for the day shift. You'll monitor and care for patients on continuous cardiac monitoring, performing assessments, interventions, and patient education in a fast-paced telemetry unit.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Duration: 90 weeks

Requirements

• Current GA or compact nursing license
• Minimum 18 months telemetry experience
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification
• Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line placement

Clinical Scope

You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, managing continuous cardiac monitoring, administering medications, placing peripheral and central lines, and responding to acute changes in patient status. Strong assessment skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team are essential.
