Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse for a 90-week contract assignment. You'll work three 12-hour AM shifts per week (36 hours total), providing direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry unit.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification required
- Demonstrated skill with IV insertion and PICC line placement
- Proficiency with the facility's electronic health record system
What You'll Do
Monitor and care for patients on continuous cardiac telemetry, assess vital signs, manage IV therapies, and respond to arrhythmias and clinical changes. You'll collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care in a structured, evidence-based environment.
Schedule & Terms
- Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three days per week
- Contract Duration: 90 weeks
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
