Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift | Atlanta, GA

This telemetry position is a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA, with night shifts running 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week).

Unit & Clinical Scope

You'll work in a telemetry unit managing patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The role involves active nursing care across varying acuity levels, with a focus on neurological assessment and vascular access.

Required Skills & Procedures

• IV insertion and PICC line management
• Neurological assessments using NIHSS
• Cardiac rhythm monitoring and telemetry interpretation

Shift Details

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 hours/week guaranteed

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
• Active Georgia RN license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS required
