Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift. You'll provide continuous monitoring and acute cardiac care in a fast-paced telemetry unit, working with patients experiencing cardiac events, arrhythmias, and other acute conditions.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• 18+ months of telemetry experience
• Demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Experience managing cardiac medications and drips
• Ability to perform IV insertion and PICC line placement
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret rhythms; identify and escalate arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac medications, drips, and antiarrhythmics per orders
• Assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertions and manage PICC lines
• Respond to rapid response and code interventions
• Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary team on patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation and infection control protocols
