Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse to join the team on a 90-week contract. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), providing 36 guaranteed hours weekly.
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license (in hand)
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line placement
What You'll Do
Monitor patients on telemetry, assess cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient status, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team. You'll manage IV therapies, assist with acute interventions, and document care in the electronic health record system.
Schedule & Details
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week
