Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for the night shift. You'll provide continuous cardiac monitoring and skilled nursing care to patients with cardiac and acute conditions in a fast-paced telemetry unit.

Shift & Contract Details

  • Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: November 16, 2026
  • Location: Atlanta, GA

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
  • Minimum 18 months telemetry experience
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
  • BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
  • IV insertion and PICC line experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and respond to rhythm changes
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and escalate as needed
  • Administer cardiac medications and antiarrhythmics per physician orders
  • Assess and respond promptly to patient condition changes
  • Perform rapid response and code interventions
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation
  • Follow infection control and fall prevention protocols

A detail-oriented, proactive RN with strong cardiac assessment skills and the ability to work independently on the night shift while maintaining excellent communication with your care team.
