Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: NOC, 3 × 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Location: Atlanta, GA
Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- 18+ months of telemetry experience
- Competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
- Ability to perform IV insertion and PICC line placement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and nursing care to patients with cardiac and acute conditions
- Interpret cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and escalate care promptly
- Administer cardiac medications, drips, and antiarrhythmics per physician orders
- Assess and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Respond to rapid response and code interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Manage assigned patient load per facility acuity standards
- Implement infection control and fall prevention protocols

The facility's telemetry unit provides continuous monitoring and acute care for cardiac and medically complex patients. You'll work in a collaborative environment with experienced clinical teams managing diverse cardiac conditions and acute presentations.
