Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Telemetry Nurse for a 90-week contract assignment working night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). You will monitor and care for patients on continuous cardiac monitoring, responding to arrhythmias and acute changes in patient status.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Monday–Friday or rotating weekend coverage
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Competency in IV insertion and PICC line placement
What You'll Do
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and alert providers to significant changes
- Perform IV insertions and assist with PICC line placements
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry unit
- Chart using the facility's electronic health record system
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams

This is a hands-on position in an acute-care setting where your attention to detail and clinical judgment directly impact patient outcomes. You'll work with a supportive team and have the autonomy to manage your patient assignments independently.
