Medical-Surgical Nurse – Orthopedics

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical RN with strong orthopedic and neurology experience to join the unit on a 13-week contract.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Guaranteed hours
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• 18 months of Medical-Surgical nursing experience minimum
• Strong background in orthopedic and neurology cases
• Georgia or Compact License (must be in hand at hire)
• AHA BLS certification required

Clinical Scope

You'll provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit focused on orthopedic and neurological patients. This role involves post-operative management, patient assessment, medication administration, and coordination of care with the interdisciplinary team.
