ICU Nurse – Atlanta, GA
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse to join its critical care team on day shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced intensive care setting, managing high-acuity patients and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3 × 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of ICU nursing experience
- Georgia or compact nursing license (must be current and in hand)
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) certification preferred
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) competency preferred
What You'll Do
Deliver bedside care to critically ill patients, monitor complex vital signs and hemodynamics, titrate medications and IV therapies, coordinate with physicians and specialists, and maintain accurate documentation. You'll use evidence-based protocols and contribute to a collaborative care environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

A compassionate, detail-oriented nurse with strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Experience with stroke patients, sepsis management, and post-operative cardiac patients is valued.
