Respiratory Therapist — Travel Contract | Greenville, SC
Shift: Nights, 3×12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 26, 2026
Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
This fast-paced respiratory therapy role supports a full range of adult respiratory modalities, including ventilator management, treatments, and patient transport. You'll work alongside interdisciplinary teams — including rapid response — delivering high-acuity respiratory care.
Clinical Scope & Required Skills:
- Adult critical care, mechanical ventilation management, and weaning
- Extubation, nasal/oral airway placement, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
- Pulmonary hygiene and sputum specimen collection
- BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and trach collar oxygen therapy
- Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
- Aerosol medication delivery via mask, trach setup, MDI, medihaler, handheld, T-piece, and trach collar nebulizers
- Administration of a broad range of inhaled medications including bronchodilators, inhaled steroids, racemic epinephrine, and tobramycin
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in adult critical care
- Active RRT license in South Carolina (must be in hand — no pending licenses)
- ACLS and BLS required
- High-acuity trauma respiratory experience required
- Electronic health record proficiency: minimum 1 year of experience required
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
Scheduling Details:
- Every other weekend (subject to change)
- Floating to qualified units or campuses may be required based on census
- Orientation: 36 hours (scheduled Mondays)

All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of booking for facility approval.
