Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its cardiac catheterization laboratory. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering a dynamic role in a busy interventional cardiology setting.

Shift & Schedule

  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday with on-call availability
  • Call Burden: 8–10 days per month (3-person call team: 1–2 RNs and 1 tech)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Clinical Scope

You'll support coronary and peripheral angiograms, interventional procedures, and device implants in a 3-room cath lab environment. The facility also operates an electrophysiology lab, expanding the range of procedures you may encounter. Patient acuity is moderate to high, with a skilled team of 10 full-time staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year current acute-care cath lab hospital experience
  • BLS & ACLS certification required
  • Ability to be flexible, team-oriented, and responsive to call needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrophysiology experience
  • Coronary and peripheral intervention background
